McMARTIN, Richard Roy
''Dick''
Born in Chico, Calif., on October 28, 1948, to Roy and Florence McMartin of Bayliss, Calif. Died, surrounded by family and friends, on September 27, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dick is survived by his wife of 29 years, Linda and their children Richard, Lindsay, and Ryan. He also leaves his brother John McMartin of Corning, Calif., along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Cathy McMartin and Jane Speck. A quiet, faithful man with brilliant blue eyes and a unique sense of humor, he lived committed to his Lord, his family, his friends and his church. Many thanks to the staff of the UCD Cancer Center, Infusion Center and Hospice for your care and for caring all these years. Graveside service will be held in Willows, Calif., on Friday, October 3, at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will take place at Grace Church at 9766 Waterman Rd., Elk Grove, Calif. 95624, on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 a.m.
