Preceded in death by wife, Georgette and son, Edward. Survived by daughters, Debra (Joe) Martin, Dawn (Steve) Schrunk and Barbara Mercier; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;cousins, Nancy Bettine, Linda Holland and Diane Tangen.
Thank you to the staff at Silver Bay Veterans Home for the wonderful care.
Graveside Service Wednesday, June 20, 11:30 am at Sunset Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE, Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

I always enjoyed my time at uncle Danny's . I can still see the smile and that husky voice saying "hey Michael how ya doing" well Danny peace to you and your family. Take care up there.

uncle danny my kids called him that and he didnt know why till i told him georgie is auntie so he is uncle, he had such a great laugh had to laugh with him, he is with his darling wife and son now love to deb dawn and barb love auntie sugar

Today on Father's Day I say thanks to my Dad. I have found memories of car trips to Florida for many years while growing up always keeping us safe seeing beautiful sites along the way along with the ocean time and time again. My dad was a great provider for our family. He had a tough life growing up and in his later years losing is wife and only son. His love for dogs that always stood close to his side knowing just how good of a man he truly was. I take peace in knowing he's with his wife and son and dogs around him. I love you dad you will never be forgotten and know that you were loved by your daughter.

I had the honor of serving Dan during his P.T. at the Silver Bay VA Home. We enjoyed his laugh, sparkly eyes and great sense of humor! It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to assist him and a delight to just see him in the hallways! Our condolences to his family.

WHEN SOMEONE PASSES ON ,WE EACH INDIVIDUALLY HAVE OUR OWN MEMORIES OF WHAT WE SHARED WITH THAT PERSON,WE OWN THAT,I FEEL SO FORTUNATE THAT MY LAST VISIT WITH DANNY AT THE SILVER BAY VETS HOME ON MAY 9TH TURNED OUT TO BE DANS LAST SPECIAL DAYS ,AND I WAS ABLE TO SHARE THAT WITH HIM.
WHEN I LOOK BACK AT MY LIFE WITH DANNY ,HE WAS MORE LIKE A BROTHER TO ME, WHEN I HAD HARD TIMES DAN AND GEORGIE ALWAYS OPENED THERE DOORS TO ME AND TREATED ME AS PART OF THERE FAMILY.

There are few days that pass when she isn't part of my day. Dan has now joined her and Eddy.We visited their graves recently.
