Holly & Sheila, Am so sorry for your loss! I remember well all of the good times shared with Richard @ 50's parties @ his house, eating dinner @ Proctor's resteraunt, golf@ The Hollows 3 times @ week (Holly U were there a couple of times & Sheila U were @ some of the parties); Richard & I up until hrs. taping oldies off of the radio! I still & always will have these tapes!!! BUT, above all of that is that is was an Honor to know your Father/Brother!! I was one of only a few that he showed what hapened in Nam. I feel so humbled to have been in Richard's presence and to have had him for a friend! He is truly a HERO and I will Never forget him!!!! Again, my deepest sympathy for your loss. If you would care to talk-(1-804-435-6792).

We are so sorry for your loss. Richard was a good friend. We have many good memories of times together. We will miss never getting to hear him play his bango again, hanging out in his home or his ( could eat off the floor ) garage. We hadn't seen him in awhile but kept in touch through e-mails. He was a good guy and he is missed.

Holly, Shiela and family - We are so sorry to lose Richard. He was a loved member of the family and we were so grateful that he and Holly came to the "country" to visit. This visit meant so much. I know you will miss him as we all will, but you have all the wonderful memories to keep in your heart always. Please know that we love you all very much.

Holly, I will truely miss your dad. He came by the house a 3 or 4 weeks ago to play "Redneck Kick the Can" with the .22 pistols. He stated then that he wanted to bring you again next time we had a shoot. If there is anything I can do for you or your family, please let me know. Semper Fi my Brother.

Holly and Shiela, It saddens me that Doc is gone. The 5 years that I had him in my life were the best! I will always treasure my time with him. He was my rock as he was yours! May God be with y'all to comfort you during this time. Y'all are always in my heart as Doc is! Love Y'all!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Nash family. Richard gave us all great memories to hold on to and we were truly blessed to have him in our lives.I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
