PALSER, Richard (Dick) Dearle
Founder of Palser Enterprises Limited (1954) London, Ont. Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Marian (1995) and Olive (2011). Dear friend of Dorothy Wright and Murielle Butts. Loving father of Lee (Sheila) Palser, Hugh (Bev) Palser and his daughter Ellen. Loving grandfather of Rebecca, Christopher, Richard (Lori), Andrea, Ashley (Tyler), Virginia and Meghan. Special great pop to Drew and Reid Palser. Remembered by Olive's children Brad (Stephanie) Carson, Nanci (Ken) Murdoch and Olive's grandchildren Jillian, Michael, Conor, Scott, Alicia, (Kevin) and Kendra. Fondly remembered by many friends and their families. Predeceased by his brother George and sisters Mary Dickinson and Beth Reid. Survived by sister-in-law Olive Palser. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. W. Davies and his team at UWO hospital and the nursing staff on the 8th floor, as well as to the palliative care team at Parkwood Hospital, Dr. George Kim and the day program at Parkwood. Special thank you to Cheryl Talbot (nurse practitioner) at LHSC. A thank you also to Dr. Papukna and the staff at Richmond Woods. Everyone will remember the twinkle in his eyes and what a true gentleman he was.
Service will be held at James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond Street, London, Ont., Tuesday, February 21, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Last Post Fund
