I just saw Dick's name in URI magazine. I played soccer with Dick. After graduation I was off to Vietnahm, but Dick was a person I always remembered and admired. I have fond memories of Dick both on and off the soccer field. I am sadden by the news of his passing, but heartened by reading about his wonderful life and family. God bless you all.

Dick was always there for everyone. He made the good times brighter, and the bad times bearable. He was quiet, gentle, and extremely funny. He touched the lives and hearts of so many people and made the world a better place for them. He will be sorely missed.

Reading the tributes to Dick it is obvious he had a significant and positive impact on many people. Dick and Geri were my sister's neighbors for many years. He and Geri were the most generous and caring of neighbors. My mother and I live in Canada but we never had to worry if Lisa ever needed assistance because we knew that Dick and Geri lived next door. When my mother and I visited my sister they always extended their warmth and generosity to us as well. We all shared a love of the shore and dogs. My mother, Mary and I extend our condolence's to Dick's family. We will greatly miss Dick's kindness and sense of humor.

My sympathies to his family! Mr. Pincus was probably one of the biggest reasons I became a physical education teacher. Had a chance to actually work with him toward the end of his career. Also, had the luxury of having Mrs. Pincus. Over the course of his career he made 1,000s of kids laugh on a regular basis. RIP Mr. Pincus thanks for being a positive impact in my life.

Dick was a wonderful man, guidance counselor, and friend to every teacher at Dugan Elementary School. He so cared for all the students, and just seemed to know how to reach each child. When it doubt, use a joke to open up a troubled student. He used to make us all laugh as well.... everyday. God Bless you Dick... Eileen Wozniak

Words cannot express how wonderful Dick was. He was a person I looked to for guidance as a young teacher starting my career in Marlboro. He had the biggest heart and a love for life and his students. He will truly be missed. Geri, may the memories of your beloved keep you strong and the love of your family get you through this. Thinking of you always. Xoxo Becky

I want to sincerest sympathy to Mrs. Pincus, the Pincus family, and all of their friends on this incredible loss.

Mr. Pincus gave me my tour when I joined elementary school in 1st grade. I remember feeling like such an outsider having not gone to kindergarten at Dugan with everyone else. All the way though 6th grade he would say hello to me in the hallway and greet me by name. He really knew how to make kids feel special with his easygoing demeanor and always have time for a joke attitude. He certainly made a positive mark on the world.

I'll never forget how he would wait for when you would open the door into the hallway so that he could smack the door really hard with his hand and then walk in holding his forehead to make you think you hit him with the door. He had a way of teaching us not to take life too seriously.

My sincere sympathy to Geri and family on the loss of Dick, a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Dick deeply cared for all students and staff in his years at Marlboro. I was blessed to have worked with him.
May you all cherish your wonderful memories. He will be greatly missed.

Our children were blessed to have known such a warm, understanding, and compassionate professional during their years at the Dugan Elementary School. He served all of the Dugan community well and was truly a wonderful, genuine, caring friend to us. We were so fortunate to know Mrs. Pincus as a favorite teacher too. How blessed we were! Sincere heartfelt condolences go out to the family. Thank you for sharing him with us!

So, it must be said: Dick was the greatest fan ever of Florida State University; he had the T-shirt, the cap, he had the pennant, and he always knew the score when it came to their football games in the fall season. In a similar manner, Dick always knew the score when he taught Physical Ed. at Robertsville Elementary School in Marlboro, and later became Guidance Counselor at Dugan. Dick was a mensch.I will remember him always. Sincere condolences to Geri & Family from Diane Lynch Curley, social worker.

He was a dedicated educator and loved at The Dugan School. He was my girls' guidance counselor and they also had the privilege of having his wife for a teacher. I know how much he was looking forward to moving and retiring in Manasquan which he did. I hope the years were good to him and Mrs. Pincus. He will be remembered by so many children and parents he touched. My condolesences to his beautiful family.

So sad to hear of the passing of a great man. He has made an impact on so many children and their parents when he worked as both a gym teacher and a guidance counselor. It has been many years since my children attended Dugan Elementary School, but they and their friends all remember Mr. Pincus with love and respect. My condolences to his whole family but especially his loving and beautiful wife Geri.
