Ramona Riley

Ramona "Mona" Huertas Abila Riley left us to be with Jesus on July 19, 2011 at her Odessa residence, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 31, 1949 in Monahans, Tx to Florencio and Sabina Abila. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ruben Abila. Ramona is survived by her husband; Robert Riley, 4 children; Melissa Hernandez, Rick Hernandez, Crecencio(Cris) Hernandez Jr.& Michelle Hernandez all of Odessa, 9 brothers and sisters, Mae Santiago, Socorro Estrada, Florencio Abila Jr.,Ismael Abila, Israel Abila, Robert Abila,& Lupe Abila all of Odessa, Brenda Abila Zapata of Midland, Raul Abila of Grandfalls, aunts; Bertha Hermosillo, Maria Aguilar both of Odessa, Cecial Polanco of Monahans, uncle; Jose Huertas of Grandfalls, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Thursday, July 21, 2011 with a Prayer service to be held at 7 PM at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel located at 1700 N Jackson. Funeral services are set for 10 AM on Friday at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Walter Schiwart officating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery (Los Angeles Section) Pallbearers will be Florencio Abila Jr., Lupe Abila, Robert Abila, Israel Abila, Jesus Aguilar, Cruz Ramirez and Vincent Santiago.
