Richard Quinty Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 24, 2024.
Richard Ralph Quinty, 82, passed away peacefully, Wednesday August 7th, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center with loved ones by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of the area.

He was a mechanic in the used car business most of his life. He was very handy and loved fixing things. He loved helping his daughters and family with home renovation projects over the years. He had a love for music, Frank Sinatra being his favorite, and enjoyed going to sing Karaoke. But what he really loved was spending time with his family, watching the New York Yankees and reminiscing on old times. He always looked forward to Sunday dinners. He had a smile that could light up any room and was always there when you needed a good laugh. He had so many stories from over the years that he loved to share with everyone. He will be greatly missed.

Son of the late George F. Quinty Sr. and Helen Kraska Quinty. He is predeceased by his brother George F. Jr. He is survived by his brothers Joseph (Andrea) and Robert (Tara) and a stepsister Cammy Castiello. His daughters, Kristin Quinty(Thomas Zottman) and Nicole Chell and son-in-law Joseph Chell. His grandchildren, Robert Rodriguez and fiancé Kenzi; Jessica, Joseph and Nikki Chell. His nephew Joseph Quinty and nieces Kimmy Pillon and Courtney Kite. He also leaves behind many friends, including his ex-wife Judy Quinty, and a special friend Bobby Walker. He looked forward to meeting his soon-to-be great granddaughter prior to his passing.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the NJ lottery. He'd love that!
