I met Rick around the mid 80´s as he was referred to John Delisle and myself with an interest in drag racing motorcycles. He ad an old Honda xr 500 dirt bike that he wanted to sell and buy a Kawasaki 1000. After me riding the dirt bike, I told him that I believed that we could break an existing record for that bike´s class! So, we built the dirt bike into a drag bike and went on to break the existing record on the first attempt and then broke our own record and set 5 more national records from that point on!! Rick was an awesome friend and an awesome person in which I had great pleasure of knowing. We spent many miles traveling in that old green Ford van going all over racing!! I have so many fond memories of time spent with Rick that I couldn´t possibly list all of them here! Rick had an awesome sense of humor and always had a good joke to tell when we saw each other! I´ll always have fond memories and will miss him greatly but the memories will always remain warm in my heart forever. Rick......God Bless and Godspeed my brother until we meet again

Some have a Father, others have a Dad,
There to support you, happy or sad,
Sacrifices aplenty along the way,
Wisdom to guide you day by day,
Time has passed, memories have not,
Grateful to share all that I´ve got,
Thankful, having not just a Dad, but a Friend,
Sorry, our time has come to an end.
I have a lot of memories of my Dad and will share more with time. He was dearly loved & will be surely missed. If anyone asks, please tell them that Dad "took the day off".
