Richard "Rick" A. Schnoes, 51, died on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Iles Westover Chapel.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, at Iles Westover Chapel. Burial will be held at later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
Rick was born on February 17, 1962, in Sioux City, Iowa to Leo and Jane (Hueser) Schnoes. He graduated from West High School in Sioux City, Iowa and the University of Iowa. Rick was employed by Principal Financial Group and the State of Iowa.
Rick will be missed by his mother, Jane Schnoes; brothers, Michael (Jean) Schnoes of Adel, Robert (Sandy) Schnoes of S. Sioux City, NE and their sons, Joe and Adam Schnoes; and his special friend, Jill Mathew and her daughter, Whitney Mathew. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Schnoes, and a sister, Terry Schnoes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Rescue League. Online condolences are welcome at IlesCares.com.

I didn't work closely with Rick, but he did work in the same area I do. He always had a "hi" as he passed by the front desk, where I sit. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
