Richard is our nephew. He will be forever loved and missed. We lived far apart so didn't get to see each other often when he was young. The picture I shared was from a visit after his Grandmother had passed away. We had time to talk as adults! He shared his love for his cousins and all his family. He was a bright star, maybe too bright for this world. He had a huge heart and I will always treasure the times he reached out to let me know he cared.

Richard was a humble and intelligent giant. Every morning at Brophy, Richard , Josh, Gabe , and I would hang out near the blackbox theatre and talk about everything under the sun. We managed to become quality hacky sac players as well thanks to Richard´s mentoring. I remember carpooling together to Brophy dances and events in his sleek white car with the bass bumping. I also vividly remember vandalizing that same white car with washable car window paint , thinking I had the upper hand on Richard, only to find a grotesque surprise on my own bumper when I headed home for the day - easily one of the funniest moments at high school. Richard was my "big bro" in high school - the first dude I loved to catchup with each morning as we commuted in from the "west side" . He was bright, funny, and treated people with a unique tenderness. I always imagined he would become something of greatness. God created a genuine good man in Big Rich , kind hearted and humble. I will cherish the many OLPH and Brophy memories I shared with Richard and I pray for his soul , that he may be with the Lord free of all suffering and pain and that we too may one day be reunited together in heaven through God´s mercy. Amen.

I went to OLPH with Richard. He was the tallest kid in class! He was always smart and loved hockey. We lived nearby the Stafanovics and with see them around the neighborhood from time to time. Thinking about you all during this difficult time.

I first met Richard in 1995 as he clinged to his dad's leg to tell me how great the Green Bay Packers are.

Rich was an incredibly smart, funny and caring individual. In the short time I knew him, he quickly became one of my very best friends. It didn´t take long for me to realize what a special person he was. He had such an amazing sense of humor and was always making me and everyone around him laugh. He was always there for people and would give the shirt off his back for anyone. Richie Rich truly was one of my favorite people. He was dearly loved and will forever be missed.

As neighbors to Richard and his family, we watched Richard grow from his preteen years to adulthood. We remember him practicing hockey, working on his vintage BMW, and out with his dog Kodi. He was a gentle giant, you couldn´t help but notice his tall stature, yet soft voice. He is missed!

Richard was a loving person full of energy! I remember taking him skiing and hiking when he was young. He. loved the outdoors and challenges of doing something new. He is loved and will be missed.
