Dr. Richard "Dick" Stout

What a wonderful man. I was his patient when I was a little girl and again as an adult. He was one of a kind!

So sorry to hear this news. The best to the family during this difficult time.

I just now learned of his passing. He understood my breathing problems as asthma when the ER at MCCH said I was pretending. THANK YOU DR. STOUT. Will see you in heaven

To Mrs. Lynn Stout and entire family, There are not words that we can say that will take the pain away but we know that in time the memories of Dr. Stout will bring smiles to your faces. We were given the opportunity to get to meet and know you both and we will always have a fond memory of the time we spent when the snow storm had you stuck in New York. My sincere condolences to Carl and all of the family. When I was a youngsters Dick Stout was one of my heroes. He was larger than life and gracious to everyone.

Dr. Stout had a greater than life persona that permeated everything he touched. His contagious smile and playful wit served as constant reminders never to take life too seriously. He had a tremendous impact on my life, both personally and professionally, inspiring me not only to become a physician but also to become a better man. My deepest sympathies to the entire family for your loss.

Dr Stout took such wonderful care of me and my health issues when I was young. he is one of the reasons why I'm in the medical field myself being able to care for others. Dr. Stout was an amazing man. He was so caring to everyone, but especially to children. My girls loved him so. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. He was such an avid MSU Fan and loved the Blue and Gold, we will definitely miss seeing him cheer our Racers to victory! He's in a better place and no longer in pain. He will forever be in your hearts.

Dick was a good friend and helped me when I was in school at Murray State. Murray and Murray State University had no better friend than Dr. Stout. He always wanted Murray State to succeed in every way especially in sports. An all around good guy that I will miss. I'm sure he is having a fun reunion with Ed and Dog right now.
