POPE, JOHN
Son of the late Girgor and Victoria Pope; companion of Elizabeth Gardiner (Betty) for 27 years; his children were his Boxer dogs Rocky and Dharma; brother of Julia Mason, George Pope, Michael Pope; nephew of John Popp; also survived by many nieces and nephews; good friend of Bill and Sharon Fairbrother and many family and friends in England.
Mr. Pope served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War, he was a graduate of St. Michael High School. He loved his dogs, tractors and prospecting in Arizona. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, September 17, 2009, 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue. Envelopes available at the church. Arrangements by Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home
