Richard Teeter Obituary
Born January 21, 1957 in Charlotte, NC, Richard was a son of Howard Odell Teeter and the late Colleen Baucom Teeter. He was an employee of City Chevrolet, where he worked in the Parts Department for a number of years. Richard enjoyed sports, and was an avid Tar Heels and racing fan. Although he loved his entire family dearly, his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.
In addition to his father, Richard is survived by son, Jeremy Teeter and wife, Courtney; daughter, Jennifer Hefner and husband, Brandon; brother, Randy Teeter and wife, Vickie; sisters, Cathy "Hoppy" Harkey and husband, Tim, and Melanie Overcash; grandchildren, Wes and Wil Teeter, and Cayden and Lesley Hefner; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 3, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road. The Rev. David Snow will officiate. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

I am so sorry for your loss...I met your dad a very long time ago but I know he loved you very much. Please know that he will live forever in your heart and he is watching you from the Heavens. AS A COWORKER WITH RICK, I KNEW HIS FAMILY VERY WELL. HE ALWAYS BROUGHT ME THE GRANDCHILDREN'S PICTURES AS THEY WERE GROWING UP. HE BROUGHT ME PICTURES OF HIS DAUGHTERS WEDDING.
