Richard Wahl Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 11 to Mar. 12, 2008.
On March 10, 2008, Richard A. “Dick” Wahl walked through the valley of the shadow of death. His wife and family took him to the valley and placed him into the Christ who said, “He would fear no evil.” Through Christ, his body has been placed back into the green pastures and he is being led beside the still waters, and his soul is now restored as he is led, by Christ, into the paths of righteousness, for Christ’s name sake. Christ assured his family that as their loved one walks through the shadow of the valley of death he would fear no evil for He would walk with him and God’s rod and staff would comfort him. A table has been prepared before Richard and his head is anointed by his spiritual mother, the spirit of God. Therefore, goodness and mercy shall follow Richard all the days of life and he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.Richard has not died. He simply moved into Christ where he will live forever, awaiting his wife of 65 years, Alda Rudd Wahl; son, Terry and Sarah Wahl; daughters, Teresa Blackmon and John Hatfield, Jackie Kay and Garry Buchanan, and Laura and John Garrison; spiritual daughter, Rose Mojica; sister, Jacqueline Mangrum; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.Interment will be private. An online guest book is available at www.corleyfuneralhome.com by selecting the Richard A. “Dick” Wahl obituary.Arrangements by Corley Funeral Home. ∞
