Richard Clayton Wright

Richard Clayton Wright, age 77 of Albion, IL went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2016.
Richard was born in Chicago on October 9, 1938 to Martin and Sophie (Sibiski) Wright.
He served in the United States Army.
Richard married Anna Ruth Jenkins on June 10, 1961 in Chicago and they enjoyed over 53 years of life together.
Richard had a full life that included many loves, likes and hobbies. His first love was serving his Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member and serving Deacon of First Baptist Church of Albion, where he was active in many capacities over the past few years. Richard also lived out his dedication to God by going on mission trips throughout the United States, served through the Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief Team, and was part of the "Chainsaw Gang". He and his daughter Tammy founded the "Feed My Sheep Ministry of Southern Illinois", a ministry of Bonnie Holiness camp. Richard was an active executive board member of the Camp. He also loved his chosen profession, roofing; and for fun, thoroughly enjoyed time spent fishing. Another favored pastime was cooking and baking. Richard loved his vacations with Anna; with Hawaii being their favorite. He treasured time spent with his kids and grandkids and will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Anna, 3 babies who were born prematurely, 2 sisters: Marlene Wells and Darlene Edelman, one brother, Raymond Wright, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
He leaves many fun and warm memories to be cherished by: his daughter Tammy (John) Endsley of Albion, Illinois, his son, Gary (Denise) Wright of Joliet, Illinois, 8 grandchildren: Timothy Wright, Brian (Megan) Wright, Alyssa (Peter) Honiotes, Zechariah (Caitlin) Endsley, Grace Endsley, Ryan Endsley, Jace Endsley and Hannah Endsley, 2 sisters: Sharon Davidson and Judith Saynor of Wisconsin, 2 brothers: Donald Wright of California and Leonard Wright of Illinois, several nieces and nephews and special caregiver, Trish Harms.
Memorials are encouraged to Bonnie Holiness Camp, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home, church and mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL.
Celebration of a Life Well Lived will be at 10AM, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Albion. Entombment will take place Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:15 PM at the Egyptian Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, Energy, IL. Due to the arrangements, cemetery flowers are not encouraged, however potted plants and memorial gifts, etc. are perfectly fine.
