Age 28, of Atco NJ. Tragically on September 17th. 2019. Beloved son of Kathleen Breuer Harple and David Harple; loving brother of Kristina, and the late Trisha; cherished grandson of Mary (nee Sisco) and the late Billy Breuer; also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing Tuesday,
4 to 7 P.M. at the JOSEPH A. SANNUTTI FUNERAL HOME, 7101 Torresdale Ave., Phila. Prayer Service 7 P.M. Int. Private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ed Snider Youth Hockey Fndn., 3601 South Broad St., Phila. Pa. 19148.

Kathleen and Dave, Words cannot begin to express how sad and sorry we are for your tragic loss of Richie. God, we can't even imagine your pain! We will always remember him for his intensity on the ice but more for the big heart inside the big boy!! We loved him and were just in shear shock when we heard this news. We ran into him a couple times over the last several years. Always so bubbly and happy to see us as we were to see him! I am so sorry for your loss. I played hockey with Rich up at Finlandia for a couple of years. One of the best guys I've ever had the privilege to meet and get to be around. I have never met someone who is so unapologetically loyal and caring. He will be missed greatly by everyone he touched in the hockey community.

My son and I met Richie when he was being punished by his Youngstown Phantoms coach. That "punishment" was to practice with my son's little Phantom team when they were 9 years old. I believe it was for a entire week of practice. All the boys loved Richie and my son immediately remembered him when I called him to tell him this tragic news.

Richard was an absolute destroyer on the ice and the complete opposite off of it. I enjoyed getting to broadcast his games in the NAHL, even when he was in an opposing jersey. I'm still just shocked by this.

Our family had the great pleasure of knowing Rich in High School and during his hockey days with Blackhorse. He and my son Ryan were good friends. They had birthdays just a few hours apart.
