Rick Chance Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral services for Rick Chance, age 54, of Ruston will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Reagan Colvin and Bro. Carl Scroggs. A Committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Florien, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mr. Chance was born May 1, 1958 and passed away January 2, 2013. Rick worked in the car industry for the past 25 years mainly in the North Louisiana area. He never met a stranger and was always there to help someone in need. He had a big heart and a great since of humor. Much loved by all, he will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Patti Ellen Chance of Monroe, LA; daughter: Jessica Leigh Chance and fiance' Michael Shane Hicks of Ruston, LA; parents: Bobby and Nell Chance of Florien, LA; sister: Sherree Chance McCain and husband Darrell of Ruston, LA; brother: Doug Chance and wife Steffani of Calhoun, LA; granddaughter: Teagan Delilah Thomas of Ruston, LA; step-daughters: Amy Duck and husband Patrick and their children: Colby, Colin and Audrey; Tena Stevenson and husband Randall and their children Sawyer, and Thiesson; stepson: Stephan Michael Regan of Ruston, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Hicks, Michael Broome, Lee Sims, Randy Barron, Al Flowers, and Peter Goertz. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Rabun, Jack Barron, Doyle Barron, David Barron, and Rusty Stevens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
