He was a self employed farmer and member of Brewer's United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife: Lori (Lynch) Jones, Benton, KY; One Son: Austin Jones, Benton, KY; mother: Francis (Creason) Dick, Benton, KY; and One Sister: Laurinda Lamb, Newbern, TN. He was preceded in death by his father: James "Jimmy" Jones. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY. Funeral service will be held at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 6, 2011, Rev. Mike Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Vanzora Cemetery, Benton, KY. Visitation will be held between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Collier Funeral Home.
