Ricky Hart Obituary
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing the guitar, writing Christian music, doing crossword puzzles and playing cards. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife Ellen.
Ricky is survived by his sons, Richard L. (Amber J. Casto) of Buchtel , Ohio and Kevin L. (Katreena) Hart of Thornville, Ohio; daughter, Tina Marie (Larry) Myers of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; step-children, Kathern Ann Wilson and Denise (Doug) Wolford; step-grandchildren; brother, Nevada (Mandy) Hart of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister, Mona Wolfe of Lucasville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years Ellen M. Hart; brothers, Carl Hart and Terry Spillman; mother, Ruthie Hart; and grandparents who raised him, Ellsworth "Elzie" and Nettie Mae Hart.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 17 at 4 p.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home chapel, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, with Rev. Kevin Chambers officiating. Burial will at a later date at Canal Lewsville Cemetery, Coshocton County, Ohio. Friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
Memorial gifts may be given to Maple Street United Methodist Church, 438 E. Wheeling St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
