RILEY KENNETH ROSE

January 8, 1976 - January 25, 2024

On January 25, 2024, Riley Kenneth Rose quietly passed from his life on earth to his forever home.

Riley was born on January 8, 1976 in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of Judith Anne Monthie of Lexington and Ronald Keith Rose, Sr. (wife Donna) of Nicholasville, Kentucky. For forty-eight years, he made us proud and blessed our lives. We loved his generous spirit and sincere desire to make the world a better place for others.

His greatest legacy is his daughter Makenna Joy Rose of Lexington. She was the brightest star in his life and his top priority. Her mother, Jennifer Farley, was one of Riley's closest and most cherished friends.

Riley is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Keith Rose, Jr. (wife Christine) of Canton, Georgia, and Ryan Kendall Rose (wife Teresa and daughter Lauren) of Lexington. From the day he was born to the day he left this world his brothers were Riley's champions and most devoted supporters.

Riley was a resident of Louisville, Kentucky where he was owner and CEO of Private Cloud Architects, Inc. He built strong relationships with corporate leaders in multiple states and various industries, providing reliable state-of-the art cloud hosting and technology consulting. Riley also gave generously of his time and services to the Louisville community, supporting programs and initiatives for the arts, young adults, the homeless, and neglected and abandoned animals.

He was a lover of sports and was an avid supporter of his daughter's soccer career. He traveled to as many games as his schedule permitted, coaching from the stands like any proud papa. He was very athletic during his own high school years. He played baseball, basketball and football, and earned multiple awards and commendations.

Riley was an avid reader with a belief that no level of knowledge was ever enough. He was a very spiritual person and always felt that the stars were created so we could dream and find peace in our lives.

His love for others was demonstrated by his decision to be an organ donor. He gave generously in death as he did in life, and we derive comfort knowing that his legacy lives on in the recipients of his gifts.

Riley was loved by an incredible number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends, many of whom will be gathering for a celebration of his life later this month.

".... I'm a dreamer. I have to dream and reach for the stars, and if I miss a star then I grab a handful of clouds."

My condolences to the Rose family. I´m beside myself when I found out. It had been awhile since we last spoke. He was a good friend. May Riley rest in peace in the arms of The Heavenly Father

A child of God, my cousin rejoices eternally with our Lord and Savior. Peace be to his beautiful family, friends, and all who love him. See you again, Ripley. "Peas" save me a seat at the big kids table!
