Rita M. Grubb (nee Volke), 57, passed away Jan. 2, 2005.
Born Oct. 14, 1947, in Ak ron, Ohio, she had 20 years of serv ice in the De partment of Human Resources.
She is survived by son, Richard Grubb; sister, Gloria (Ron ald) Fogg; and grandchildren, Melanie Travis, Marina Kallert, and Megan Grubb.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at 3 p.m., at Copley United Method ist Church, 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Copley, Rev. Becky Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Burial at Copley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, and one hour prior to the service at the church. She was my grandmother and I loved her so much.She was a generous soul who has touched not only our family, but the other people she had came across in her life. I never got to say goodbye, but she will forever be in my heart.

To the Family: May the Lord bless you and yours during this time of sorrow. I had the priviledge of working with Rita at DJFS, and what a joy that was. Take heart in knowing that your angel just got a chance to use her wings, for surely she has gone "home". God Bless!

We would like to express our sympathy to Ritas family. I worked with Rita for a long time. She loved coming to our daughters softball games during the summer. We always had a good time with her. She will be missed. The Rose family.
