Rita Hynek Obituary
Rita (nee Pszczola) Hynek, 84, of Schererville, IN, formerly of Calumet City, IL, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph L; two sons, Joseph (Margo Mack) Hynek and Dr. Jeffrey (Elaine) Hynek; four grandsons, Michael, Matthew (fianc e Lauren Dawson), Johnathan, and David; one granddaughter, Rachael; one great grandson, Owen; former daughter-in-law, Chris Hynek; four sisters, Ceil (late Matt) Gross, Clara (late Walter) Wasko, Helen (late Frank) Rymarczyk, and Barbara (Lynn) Mattingly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, late Frank (late Lottie) Hynek, late Wanda (late Bernard) Johnsen, John (late Adi) Hynek, and Anne (late Eugene) Troksa; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Martha Pszczola; and her parents-in-law, John and Angeline Hynek.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 9:15 a.m. from the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 9445 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, for 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Victor Church with Rev. David Pavlik officiating. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rita was a graduate of St. Casimir Grade School and Bishop Noll High School Class of 1949, and she was a former employee of ACME Welding.
