Robert "Bobby" Thorn Obituary
Son of the late Edward and Dorothy Thorn of Enola; he is survived by his brothers, Edward Thorn (Susan) of Mechanicsburg, Ken Thorn of Shermansdale, and Joe Thorn of Philadelphia; sisters, Cherry Gronski (James) of Cape Cod and Judy Thorn of Gardners; his children, Steven and Sarah; and his nieces and cousins. He also leaves behind many friends from work, especially Dez and Dan who meant a great deal to him.
Bobby was very mechanically inclined and was good at fixing things.He worked as an auto mechanic for a number of years, and for the last 15 years he did maintenance work for the Dauphin County Work Release Center and also worked for Clean Team in the evenings.
Besides working two jobs, he also remodeled his family home. On the weekends he liked to spend time with his children, go fishing, and watch movies. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, often wearing his coonskin cap and cowboy boots, his "dress up clothes "as he liked to say. He also collected model fighter planes and other army items.
Bobby's dream was to own a nice property with a lot of land. He also wanted a John Deere tractor like the ones he rode at work.

Burial will be private.
