I met Bob in 2007 when I needed to build out a facility for novel specialty chemical startup. It was Bob's charisma and straight talk that won over my CEO to select Technical Builders to complete the task. We stayed connected through 2019 when our relationship changed to supporting each other through our cancer journey. Bob was a wealth of knowledge on prostate cancer and his guidance was instrumental in my 5 year treatment process. I will be forever grateful. Norbert Fronczak

There are a few people who have been as influential in my life as my uncle Rob. His choice to move to California all those years ago had ripple effects through our family resulting in myself and my sister moving and building our lives here as well. But it wasn´t just the choices he made that had an effect on me. His intelligence, ambition and athleticism were aspirational. His example was a sort of North Star, guiding me to the man that I wished to become. I know that I made him proud because he never failed to tell me so; he expressed his love openly and freely to me and all those around him. Cheers to a life well lived!

So blessed to have known Bob for over 45 years. He was such an amazing friend - always so full of life, laughter and love. We shared so many great times over the years. One special trip to Sicily was so much fun, where Bob and Melanie danced in front of the church from The Godfather movie. It was the sweetest.
All the special memories we have shared, as well as Bob's infectious laugh and smile, will remain in my heart forever. Melanie, Bianca and Adrianna - his love for family was immense and his spirit will live on in all of you and your growing family. I love you all.

I remember the first time I met Bob. Melanie and I grew up across the street from each other on Belvue Drive in Los Gatos. She had recently met Bob and couldn't wait to walk over and introduce him to our family. Everyone immediately noticed the incredible light that Bob radiated... he lit up the room with his laughter and warmth, but especially by the way he looked at Melanie. My parents adored Melanie (she was my childhood babysitter) and thought she only deserved the best. Well when Melanie and Bob left the house, they turned to us and said, "Well, she found him!" Bob has been such a blessing to us over these many years, and the DeGennaro/Adamo family has seen our family through many joyous times, as well as through some very serious health challenges as well. Bob, in his own battle, remained a source of incredible inspiration and strength to us. Bob continued to model the kind of warrior I could only dream of being, while Melanie continued to witness to my entire family the kind of advocates that are needed for those suffering through serious illness. Our lives are so much fuller and blessed because of the entire Adamo Family, and Bob's wisdom, joy and strength will remain in our hearts until the day we meet again in God's perfect kingdom. We love you all so deeply and are keeping you in our prayers as you navigate through this very difficult time.

It took some time to gather my thoughts and emotions to get past the thought of writing something on what seems so final. But it never will be, I have 62 years of memories of my big brother, his humor, endless laughter and smiles, long talks, inspiration, wisdom, crazy sounds he´d make, jokes he´d play on my parents ( and some how always get away with it)
In our later years I admired him for his tenacity and hope and faith to live each day to the fullest. I watched him become the finest father, husband, and soon to be a grandfather. I will never forget everything he has done for all of us. His love and compassion for family goes beyond words.
Rest in peace my brother, you´ll always be in my heart.

I met Bob at a Cancer Center where he quickly became a caring friend, with encouragement that brightened each day. His love for his family and life was endearing and contagious. Bob's sense of humor turned conversations to laughter and gratitude for each day.
Bob's spirit is cheering us on, to live each day to the fullest, with a positive attitude, enabling us to run the race of life with endurance and joy.
I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to be his friend. Sherry

This coming Fall it will be 50 years since I met Bob in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Mechanical Engineering Student Lounge. In no time we were good friends. After graduation I immediately moved to what was then the real Silicon Valley to take on my first job at National Semiconductor. Bob started his First job in NJ at Owens Corning Fiberglass. I kept in touch and one day saw an opportunity for Bob in CA, and I must say it took very little convincing for him to come visit. Bob ended up joining me one year later in CA at the same company and department! We were officially California buddies, even bought our first house together. It was the beginning of the time of our lives, so many stories, so much fun! I will miss my dear friend though the memories will carry on. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mel, Bianca and Adriana. He sure was a wonderful guy!

I don´t know enough words in English to express how deeply sorry I am for this loss.
Bob was one of the kindest man I´ve ever had the chance to meet. I will always remember his smile, his stories, humor, generosity and the way he made people feel welcome.
He made me feel like family in every possible way.
I´ll never forget the day he introduced me to ''The Lumineers'' while he was working in his garden. Since then, every time I hear their music, I think of him, and of my family in America.
It´s hard to accept that he´s no longer with us.

In loving memory of a truly inspiring soul. You had a gift for seeing the beauty in every moment, always choosing optimism and kindness. Your words of encouragement lifted so many, and your stories painted the world with wisdom, humor, and warmth. You celebrated the successes of others as if they were your own, and that generosity of spirit will never be forgotten. Though you are no longer with us, your legacy of hope and compassion continues to shine through the lives you touched. Thank you for everything-you will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

So blessed for 42 years of friendship with this amazing man. Larger than life, full of life, and a joy to know and love. He and my precious hubby - candles that burned bright in the world - I know they're somewhere, laughing it up, at peace with lives well-lived. To Melanie, Bianca, Adrianna - wishing you peace and comfort in knowing how much joy he knew in your presence. Much, much love to all of you as you weather this challenging time. xoxo

Our mutual friend Mike Dobson introduced Bob to me over 30 years ago. Bob was starting a new construction company (Technical Builders) and needed a CPA. It was readily apparent to me that Bob was going to be very successful in this new business venture. He had a wonderful outgoing personality and was a helluva sharp contractor.
Bob and I both had kids about the same ages and he was SO proud of his beautiful girls!
Of course a guy that looks like Bob also had the most gorgeous wife who he also was oh so proud to be honored as her partner in life.
My thoughts are with Melanie, the girls and the rest of the family.
We lost a good one. His large personality will be missed by many. A warrior to the end.

Our heart is sad and our spirit is scarred-but man, what a ride it´s been. Since we met back in ´84, we´ve packed a lifetime full of memories-business adventures, ski trips, golf days, and way too many glasses of wine and laughs to count. From driving up to Tahoe in the Porsche to rocking those awful powder suits in Aspen, to watching our families grow side by side-it´s been nothing short of epic.
I´ll never forget our birthday traditions-your day at Boulder Ridge, mine at CordeValle. Those weren´t just games; they were sacred times. And somehow, every time we got together, it felt like no time had passed at all.
You´ve lived life with heart, grit, and a hell of a lot of style. Even now, you´re teaching us what it means to face things with strength and grace. That´s just who you are.
Melanie, Bianca, Adriana and Bryce -Sana, Michael, and I want you to know: you´re part of us. Always. Bob will be with us in every story we retell, every round we play, every glass we raise. Rest assured that Baby Novak sure has a dedicated Guardian angle watching over him
Love always,
Elias, Sana, Michael & Grace

Since his passing, there hasn´t been a day I haven´t thought of Bob. He was a great man-a great friend and an unbelievable husband and father. He was always so proud of his wife and daughters and would light up any time he was discussing his family.
Even in tough times, he would be a calming and reasonable voice. When things were difficult, I often turned to him for advice and direction and never left a conversation without feeling better-with more clarity and peace.
We had so much fun, so many laughs, and he made my life better and more rewarding. He made the world a better place, always looking at the positives. I learned a ton from him about leading a positive life, and I was so thankful to call him a best friend.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. I don't believe I ever heard a negative thought come out of him. In 1997, and after 17 years of his friendship in construction, I approached Bob about getting his help and advice in giving Break Away Concrete Cutting a shot at doing business together. He smiled and looked at me with those piercing blue eyes and told me how our working relationship was going to be. Bob gave me a shot at his business and we worked together on many projects throughout the years and Bob was always very honest, fair and available.
Bob was one of a kind and will be missed by all that knew him.

Melanie-I have been thinking of you and the girls every day. I can't begin to imagine what you are going through right now.
When I think of Bob, I remember his magnetic personality, his radiant smile, and those dazzling, bright blue eyes. But above all, I remember the deep love he had for his family-especially for you and the girls.
I looked through our photos and, while I don't have one specifically of Bob, I keep thinking about that wonderful visit to your home in 2009 with the kids. I remember both you and Bob's incredible hospitality and generosity-it truly meant so much to us. That time remains a very special memory for our family.

Bob was a remarkable person - a mentor, a visionary, and a true friend. His guidance shaped our paths, his ideas inspired many, and his kindness touched countless lives. He saw what others couldn´t, and he believed in people before they believed in themselves. His legacy lives on in all of us who had the honor to know him. We carry his spirit forward-with gratitude, with purpose, and with love.
