Tia Mona, Tio Robert, Valorie and family ... May God Bless you and continue to give you strength & comfort.
Our cousin Bobby was truly an exceptional loving person with a heart of gold ... never once did he ask anyone for help at our family reunions, weddings or parties. Now I understand it all, Bobby just wanted everyone to enjoy the party and it probably made him very happy seeing the smiles on our faces as we walked through the food line. So, so generous. THANK YOU Bobby for all you did for us. I love you.. Forever in our hearts.. until we meet again.

To the Alvarado Family, Our condolences go out to you in this difficult time. We grew up with the Alvarado family when they lived on Whitlock and we lived on E. 4th St. All of us went to Bakersfield High School. How time passes, too quickly sometimes. Cherish the many memories of the time you shared with Bobby, I know we will.
On behalf of the Andrade Family: Richard, Charlie, Becki, Steve and Eddie.

I met Bobby when I played fast pitch softball for his dad. I used to play catch with bobby when he was about 10 years old. I latter played softball with bobby when he was at San José State. We still remember him hitting a monster homerun to win the game. His loss has sadden me, we all lost a great person and may he rest in peace. Thank you Bobby for being the greatest. Jess Jacques

To the Alvarado Family - I just heard about Bobby's passing and wanted to pass along my sincere condolences. He was a great opponent and teammate back in the Driller days when we opposed each other and as a teammate at Bakersfield College where we spent many a good time together. Out of all the guys I played with he was one of my favorites. The man upstairs is getting a good Driller and Renegade. He will always be remembered by me and his baseball buddies. Blake Green

My deep condolences and prayers are out to the Alvarado family. Bobby was indeed a very kind and gentle man.
I worked with Bobby at the Johnson potato sheds in the summer of 1968, and he was kind enough to invite me for lunch at his home. His mother made us sandwiches (imagine my surprise).

Just a man. A man that left a legacy for all. A man that created much with little. A man that shared love without speaking. A man that spread joy to a family so large that no one could try to match. A man that meant so much to so many that none could compete or compare. Only a man, a man that will be surely missed in the greatest way by family, but in the worldly way by all who knew him. Bye Bobby, your world, your way is taken care of and now you can rest for you accomplished much in your short life and we are proud.

My deepest condolences to the Alvarado family..... I met Robert when I was in high school. I think it was summer of 1975, he worked for MAOF. I was looking for work through MAOF, and he placed me to work at the YWCA as a prep cook. To make a long story short, I walked out of the job, Robert came to pick me up (shaking his head at me) and took me to the MAOF office; there he placed me to answer phones for the rest of the summer. He was a very kind, easy going man. Prayers and thoughts....

Bobby was working for KMC IT when I first started with Data Processing back in 1977. He was always such a great guy. I was so happy when he came back to work for ITS. He was a great boss but an even better friend. I can't begin to tell you how much he helped me the last year before I retired: kind, generous, funny, supportive, etc. I'm happy we were able to keep in touch in the last years. I will truly miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. :(

Tio Robert, Tia Mona, Aunt Val, Natalie, Nicole, Robby, and Ron- you guys are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

I want to offer an example of how kind Uncle Bobby was. When I first got hired at Robinsons-May, I didn't know how to tie a tie. It was kind of a problem since I had to wear a suit & tie to work. On the first day I had to work, I was getting frustrated because I could not get my tie on right. I called Bobby to ask if he could help me and he said 'come on over'. So I stopped over at the house and he fixed up my tie and had me on my way looking good!

Thank you, Uncle Bobby, for that and all the great family get-togethers.
