I wanted to share a little of how Billy impacted my life and our family.
Billy always was kind, funny and willing to help my dad and our family since the mid 1970s.
I believe he had one of the biggest loving hearts you could see in a man and it showed by his actions.
There was a time or two when he gave me a lot of friendly advice that had to do with marriage and divorce.
I can remember him coming over to Eastside road and helping my dad cut his 1970 Chevy Impala in half and weld a new one on and put it all back together.
He used to take us for rides in the dune buggy and buy us lunch for my brothers and I over in Walpole during his lunch breaks.
In my opinion he was a huge positive impact on our family growing up and was good to all of us. He will always be remembered and missed by many....

My sincerest condolences to the Armitage family or to anybody that knew " Billy ". A kind-hearted humorous junkyard dog. As a child my brothers and sisters and new Billy through my father throughout the '70s and well into the '80s. My father worked for him or with him briefly at Armitage Auto on route 1A Wrentham. I am aware of only a few times that he really helped my dad and by proxy helped us kids through very tough times. There are probably numerous other times that I do not even know about. That's who Billy was. He and my dad were greatest of friends. To me and my siblings he was an Uncle. May God have your soul Billy, you are missed.
