Robert J. Bangel

March 21, 1999, of Buffalo, NY; beloved husband of the late Monica 'Peggy' (Pickhardt) Bangel; loving father of Sr. Sharon Erickson R.S.M., Dianne J. (Mike) Frawley, James R. (Karen) Erickson, Pamela (John) Gunning, Robert J. Bangel Jr. and the late Guy J. (Lynn) Erickson; brother of Edward (Rosemary) Bangel and Mary Grace (the late Lee); Mr. Bangel is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family will be present to receive friends Tuesday 2-9PM at the South Buffalo Chapel of the JOSEPH K. QUINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 192 Abbott Rd. (near Southside Pkwy.), where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Martin's Church at 9:45AM. Friends invited. Mr. Bangel was a forty year employee of Niagara Mohawk Corp. and a member of The Twenty-Five Year Club of Niagara Mohawk. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
