We are said to learn of his passing. He was always a bright shining light for us when we spent time with him and Betsy. A man of great strength, integrity and kindness.

Bob was my mentor. We did great things together and had a lot of fun. I admired him. I will miss him.

Bob provided a great number of cherished memories to me and my late husband, John Gagnon, through regular visits around the globe. He was loved by us for himself and for the extraordinary connection between him and our beloved Betsy. I will miss him in the future but keep him alive in my heart and mind as will many others.

Bob was a great leadership colleague at The University Club of New York. He was gracious, deliberate and thoughtful. Sincere condolences to his family.

A great loss, a great sadness for a man that was so wonderful, inspirational and admirable in so many ways. he was a mentor who guided, challenged and laughed with you. Bob will be missed terribly, our prayers and wishes for you and the family Betsy.
