Bob took care of me and my career when I worked for Catalyst Energy back in the 80s out of the East Granby office - what a giant of a man and a gentle soul. He will be missed by all who had the chance to be in his orbit.

Bob will be missed! We always enjoyed the `Springhill Road Traffic Report“ from Bob! He had witty comments about the number of cars going up and down the street.
Shirley- good thoughts for you and your family.

Bob was my older brother and protector when I was growing up! He was a kind, giving person and while distance was difficult I still miss him a lot! I hope his family finds peace in knowing he did just what he wanted to do and lived life to the fullest! I remember what an infectious smile he had. He adored his mother, Dorothy!

I met Bob when we both worked in S. D. Bechtel, Jr's office back in the early 70s.
He was always a very positive guy with a great sense of humor. You couldn't help but like him.

Bob achieved some wonderful goals in his work career but my favorite was a hydro electric project that he had to rebid with the competition knowing his bid price and still won the award--unheard of

Bob was a mentor to me, and he always said never do something that you would be embarrassed to read in the newspaper the next day.

Bob was a towering figure and inspiration in my young adult life. I was fortunate to spend several years dating his incredibly kind, intelligent, and beautiful daughter, Stephanie, with whom I am still friends to this day. Bob's imposing presence upon meeting him was daunting. But, he was also kind and welcoming. I knew that, as long as I treated his youngest well and respected her he would always be kind to me. His example changed my life and inspired my work to this day. I am so glad that I was able to play a small part in his life, and the life of his precious family. Thank you for everything, Bob. You will be missed. Prayers and much love to the ladies that will forever be in my heart, Shirley, Jennifer, Roberta, and especially Stephanie.
