I was extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Bob. My deepest sympathies, to all his family, for your huge loss.
I enjoyed our annual chats, at his insurance renewal dates, regarding the state of basketball in town and then hearing how proud he was of all of you as he gave me the past year's updates.
You should be very proud that Bob will be missed by more people than you can imagine.
Sincerely,
Tom Foster

Sincerest condolences to the Bellaire family.
Had Mr. Bellaire for gr.12 and 13 chemistry and had a knack for getting you interested in the subject. Always attended our bball games and big supporter and always had a kind word.
He was a big time all-city star at Corpus Christi and held the scoring record for many years. Hard to believe that he was teaching us and was only about 5 years older than us.
He will be missed .

My sincere sympathies for your family. As one of Mr. Bellaire's many former students I enjoyed his enthusiasm and welcoming manner into his classroom. For many years after graduating I would occasionally bump into "RJ", and he would always greet me with a gentle manner and welcoming smile, and always remember my classmates and the way we interacted at W.D. Lowe. He will be missed and never forgotten. God Bless you all.

I attented W.D.Lowe Technical/Secondary school from 1970-1975.
I had Mr. Bellaire teach me grade 11 and 13 Chemistry. The material in my opinion was dry--Learning the periodic table and balancing equations was not fun---yet Mr. Bellaire had a unique teaching method that actually made it fun to learn.
I also recall how he would always come out on Friday evenings to attend and support the Basketball team which I played on.
I will never forget the Monday mornings on the second floor where he, Coach Brumpton and various other teachers at Lowe would stand between classes. Many students would walk by this group of teachers and Mr. Bellaire would always nod or smile as students would walk by. I recall that when I would walk that way he would give a very approving smile indicating that he was pleased with the team effort in winning yet another basketball game for the school.
These are the types of memories which will remain with me forever.
He was a special human being and he will be missed.

Deepest sympathies on the loss of your patriarch. When I was in grade twelve, we went to Lowe, transferring from Patterson.
