Robert BERTRAM Obituary
Bob's beautiful heart stopped beating on September 30, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather and a man of integrity and a true gentleman. He was predeceased by his son Craig in 2008. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marilyn of 41 ½ years, his children Keith (Donna), Jeff, Kim (Scott), Mark and grandson Jared (Ian), and his dearest family friend Anne Miller with her unwavering love and support. Bob was Past President of the YMCA and Dolphin's Swim Clubs; Past District Governor of Lions International 5CE Sask; Past Council Chairman of Multiple District 5 Sask., North Dakota and South Dakota; Past Honorary Solicitor of Canadian Legion; and received the Melvin Jones award for Lionism. He was awarded a Life Membership of the Law Society of Sask. He loved the law and considered his past law partners with the utmost respect. And he loved the Blue Jays. It was always "top of the ninth". He is just a "heartbeat away". Good Night Sweet Prince. Special thanks for the excellent care he received from the medical staff of the Pasqua Hospital 4c unit. In keeping with his wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Bob is so deserving of a final peaceful rest. You and Bob were an entertaining and matched couple, indeed, Marilyn. I especially enjoyed his sense of humour and interesting stories when I worked with him. He left us with good memories.

Mrs. Bertram & Family, please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Mr. Bertram. He was a wonderful man and I too thought of him as a father figure when I worked at Koch, Bertram, Scrivens and Prior late 80's to early 90's. He will be missed!

Marilyn and family,
I was saddened to hear about Mr. B's passing. My sister worked for Mr. B in earlier years and then I was able to join her in 1988. Mr. B was always kind and we looked up to him as a father figure. My sister will welcome him in Heaven as we lost her last year to cancer. Please know I am thinking of you and saddened to hear of Mr. B's passing.
