Robert "Bob" Wynne Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 7, 2024.
Robert John ("Bob") Wynne of North Hollywood, California, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 2, 2024, at the age of 76.

Bob is survived by his adoring partner and wife of 24 years, Jennifer Parsignault, siblings Barbara Gross, Patty Schmitt, Dale O'Neal, Mark O'Neal, Richie Fenton, and his daughters from his first marriage, Chelsea Wynne and Rachel Wynne, as well as his extended family of nieces, nephews, in-laws, plus his many, many friends and colleagues. Bob was predeceased by his sister Carol Favata and her husband Joe, as well as his parents.

Bob was born on April 23, 1947. He grew up in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he first showed interest and talent in fine art and was able to develop the skills that later became the foundation for his successful graphic arts enterprise.

After serving in the Army, Bob found his way to Los Angeles, where he was able to realize his dream of owning and operating his own commercial design company, Wynne Graphics. In addition, he was a prolific fine artist, creating a repertoire of several hundred oil portraits and landscapes, and a broad range of works in acrylics, watercolors, charcoal and mixed media. His paintings have been included in private collections around the nation, and he was a member in good standing of both the National Society of Oil & Acrylic Painters and The American Artists Professional League.

Through his wife, Jennifer, he became an active supporter of feline rescue due to her involvement in the local cat rescue community and with Heaven on Earth / Perry's Place in North Hollywood.

A lifelong bon vivant, good friend and confidant, and willing explorer of all the goodness and beauty that life could offer, Bob will be remembered for all the love and good will he shared with his friends and family.

A "Celebration of Bob's Life" will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation in Bob's memory to Heaven on Earth / Perry's Place (HeavenlyPets.org), or to a local feline rescue shelter of your choice.

I am so sad to see this. Bob was a very kind man and super talented graphic artist. I had the pleasure of working with Bob for over 27 years. He helped me when I started my business and designed my first business card. He was dedicated to his work. Through the years Bob had designed all of our photos, calendars, website graphics, social media and all of my family photos. My prayers go to all of his family. He is missed!

Bob's wonderful painting of our cat Bravo, with his penetrating golden eyes, adorns our bedroom wall and keeps alive our memories of our "big handsome man". We will always be grateful for his generosity.

Bob was a kind and gentle man, and a gifted artist. I enjoyed our chats about music and art, going back to the '60's and '70's. I was only just getting to know him, and I wish we had more time. Condolences to Jennifer and Bob's family.

God bless Bob and Jennifer and all their rescue recipients. Bob was a kind and gentle soul. I fell in love with the paintings Bob made of my mother, Tura Satana. Bob allowed me to purchase them on a payment plan. One painting, I purchased for my sister, Jade Quinlan. The other painting resides at my home.
