My condolences to Bob's family. Bob was our family physician for many years and the fellow pilot who took care of our FAA medical exam requirements. We never discussed controversial issues but focused on common interests including fitness and flying I always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of his office and the cartoons Bob had posted there. I wish to express appreciation to Bob's family for designating the Nashua River Watershed Association as the recipient of donations in Bob's memory.

I only recently stumbled upon his 24 SEPT 1976 letter to the Lowell Sun. When I researched who this man must have been, I learned of his death mere days before I had learned of the man. Dr. Borden found an audience.

He was always there for me through my trials and tribulations, I always tried to be there for him. He delivered my daughter Leanne 49 years ago. He was never dull. May he Rest In Peace.
