Robert A. Burmeister, 75, born June 26, 1943, in Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on Aug. 15, 2018.
Robert served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Severn AO 61. He worked at the NYSE and also at Steiny's Pub. Robert was the founder and lead singer of Deja Vu Vocal Group and Band for 35 years. He was a player/ manager of Acme A.C. and original member of Stapleton A.C.
Known as the life of the party, he always practiced Freedom of Speech and was a true patriot. He was an avid Facebook parolee, the family historian, and a great entertainer. Robert never missed a party, a parade or a wake. He was a Yankees, Giants, and Rangers fan, but was the biggest fan of his family.
Rest in Peace and sing with the angels.
Predeceased by his parents, August and Lillian, and former spouse, Patricia Burmeister, Robert is survived by his wife, Roseann Burmeister; children, Margaret "Peggy" (Thomas) Lindsey, Robert J. Burmeister (Mary Gibbons), Rae Ann and Joe Delutro; grandchildren, Thomas, Abbey, Ella, and Jack; sister, Patricia, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Viewing is today, Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Roch's Church, Port Richmond Ave. Cremation is private.

I know we haven't been as close as we should had been over the years since we moved but that doesn't change the love I've always had for you my big brother...the letters from you when you were in the Navy saying listen to mommy and daddy and I'll bring you a surprise from one of my many ports of call......i was your little sis as you called me...I'll always have the memories....always always...forever until we're all together....I love and miss you all...
