Obituary



Robert Primo Cabianca was born April 25, 1937 to Eda Laface and Primo Cabianca in Trail, B.C., Canada, passed away Saturday, March 6th. He graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, a minor in Theology, and numerous post-graduate courses. Most of his career was with Tidewater and Gulf Oil in upper management positions located in Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Los Angeles, California; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston and Dallas, Texas. Upon retiring from the oil industry, he and his wife owned a real estate office in Houston.

Later, he oversaw land and real estate development in rural areas of Pennsylvania and Ohio. Following that, he created a company in Tampa, Florida that tested underground storage tanks domestically and internationally. In this role he traveled extensively to Mexico, South America, and Europe. His last position was in the South Florida gaming industry.

Bob is survived by Dorothy, his loving and devoted wife of 50 years. Their three children, Daniel Cabianca of Houston, Texas, Karen Cabianca Dry of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Christopher Cabianca of Keller, Texas. Grandchildren Alexandra, Dalton, and Alyssa Dry; Parker and Hailey Cabianca. His three brothers, Dr. William (Doreen) Cabianca of Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Kenneth (Lynda) Cabianca of Vancouver, B.C., and Dr. Leonard (Jeannine) Cabianca of Tucson, Arizona. Additionally, he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Joanne's House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy., Bonita Springs, Florida 34135. Funeral services are private, with arrangements being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home.

I was sad to hear of Bob's pasing. I am so sorry I did not get to see him in December when we talked last. My prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. I am honored to have known Bob. Brian Collins

If you grew up in Trail with the Cabianco boys you will find it hard to think of one of them without the others....my condolences to Bob's family and friends.....but, bless Bob for a life well-lived. Patti McCullough
