I first met Bob Cartwright in Sharon, PA when we both joined Westinghouse Electric Corporation. We were both transferred to Athens, GA to build a new transformer manufacturing plant. Bob and Jeanniene were our best friends and I was so sorry to learn of his passing. Great friend !!!

Dear Sherrie, Bobby, Keith and Chris,
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve you guys and Uncle Bob. He was my favorite uncle growing up.
He was always energetic and entertaining. I remember him being an early riser and he would always wake up Chris and I by clearing his throat, then try to put us to work. He would always reward me with bacon. He knew I would do anything for bacon.
I'm sorry we grew apart later in life because I always loved him. After looking at all the pictures Bobby posted of him I realize how much I miss him.
I hope you guys are all doing well and I hope we can somehow get together soon.
Love,
Larry

Dear Family:
Bob all of us here in New Orleans are going to miss you. You had a special relationship with each one of us. You were always so generous, and positive, not to mention your amusing antics. We really had a good time when you were around.
I am sorry that your loved ones must suffer through your loss. It is so painful.
We will always love you and remember you and mention your name often.
I am sorry that you left us so soon.
Love, Teri, Larry, Lori, and Diana

Dear Daddy,
I love you so much! I am so thankful that I was able to read the words of Jesus (John 14) to you on Sunday evening. No one can even imagine how much this has comforted me. Thank you for being a wonderful father. You will be forever in my heart. Your loving daughter, Sherrie Lyn

Bigdaddy,
Its so hard for me to believe and accept that you arent around anymore. You were a wonderful father, and loving grandfather who never thought about himself. You are my ultimate role model, you loved your children with all that you had, and nurtured your grandchildren with love and admiration. My daddy is the man he is today only because of the way you and bigmama raised him. You lit up everyones life and your smile was and still is contagious. When I look at your pictures I can't help but smile because I have so many good memories with you. I had you in my life for 17 years, my one regret is that i couldnt have you stay for a bit longer. I am now and always will be incredibly proud to be called your granddaughter. I know that you will be watching over me as I graduate high school, and eventually get married.
And someday when I'm older, I'll tell my children about you, about how amazing you were.
I know it's not the end, its the beginning, and I'll meet you up there someday. I love you and miss you,
Your Loving Granddaughter,
Katey

Your Dad was a wonderful man. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Chris, I didn't realize he was even ill, but I think it is very special that you and your wife took care of him during his final days and were able to spend that time with him. I'm sure it meant everything to him as well as the rest of your family.
