ROBERT CAVERS
Robert "Bob" Cavers, of Regina, SK., passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Bob was born November 14, 1926 at the Regina General Hospital. Predeceased by his son Jeff; his parents Abner and Jenny Cavers and his sister Verroll Keeler. Bob is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of 61 years; sons, Reid (Kathi) and David (Tammy); four grandchildren, Renee (Ryan), Jaime, Jeffrey and Evan; two great-grandchildren, Lila and Ivy, who he absolutely adored; his brother Jack and numerous nieces and nephews. After a career of 44 years with Intercontinental Packers, Bob then had a second career with Commissionaires of Canada. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK, Friday November 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends wishing may make donations to the charity of their choice, or to the Palliative Care Unit Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK., S4T-4L5. Our house on Athol Street backed onto the shared lane with the Cavers house on Montague. We enjoyed chatting with Bob. Our sympathies to Lorraine and family.

I still remember as a kid and sleeping over at David 's and every Saturday night we had Bob's amazing sloppy Joes! My condolences to your family on the loss of a good man, father and grandfather.
