Robert you will be greatly missed, by your family, your friends and ME! I sure am blessed to have had the honor of knowing you, and caring for you, 7 years. With your great knowledge, God, news, politics, our military, our country, as well as other countries you had the opportunity to visit. Your love for cruising (not only the destination) it was just being on a ship again, oh how you loved it.
One of the most caring and loving men I've ever had the honor of knowing...His story's from a young boy to an elder man, could be a "best seller" book. If you were lucky enough to really know his heart, you are very lucky. Robert was not afraid of death, being a devout Catholic all his life. (Thank you Joe for your visits) He knew where he was going, to be with his life long love again...he was waiting to be reunited with his wife. Robert loved life here, as we all do! His only little girl, the memories he held in his heart of you Faith, are amazing...his baby girl! His grandkids he talked about all the time, he is very proud of each one.
Robert loved eating out. He would take me to Waffle House, for crepes, we had lunch at some of the top restaurants in town, he loved wining and dining ! What a gentleman, he made sure my chair was pulled out, if he couldn't do it for me, after being in a wheelchair, he would ask the waiter to do so for him, that's just the man he is! Oh, and me pay NO WAY!! Thank you again Robert!
I brought a few of my friends and family to meet Robert and to help with Robert during the years and wanted to take this time to thank each one of you for your loving care for him.
Faith has been a life long friend of mine.
I love you faith! During our teens we both I'm sure, disappointed Dad a few times but I believe life goes in full circle. I believe God had his hands in me able to give back to him. Thank you Robert for loving me, for your knowledge, your caring for me, my horse, Myty, that you loved too. Financing our cruise, because you said I had to experience it.
Than you for going to the barn with me several times to take hay and feed. He enjoyed seeing all the horses. I know you loved going!
This great man we are honoring here today, I will forever hold dear to my heart. I know heaven is just as you knew it would be...EVEN BETTER!!
Rest In Peace... God please surround Robert with all his loved ones.
In Jesus Christ name, I pray this...Amen.
Love you Mr Robert
