Beatrice Cruz Obituary
Mrs. Beatrice C. Cruz born November 5, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Emil Cruz; granddaughter, Michelle Mora; and her parents, John and Julia Cortinas. Beatrice is survived by daughters, Anna Marie Lopez and husband Marco, Linda Mora; sons, Joseph Cruz and wife Aurora, Emil Cruz, Johnny Cruz and wife Maricela; sisters, Carmen Davis, Norma Flores, and Julie De La Rosa; brothers, Johnny and Henry Cortinas; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 13, at 4:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 14, at 11:30 A.M. at The Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Please Accept our Deepest Sympathies. Sra. Cruz was a nice woman who always kept us kids in check as we played with her grandchildren back in the day. No matter what she would always with out fail give us a Waive and a Smile. That always lightened up our day. Now its time for you to rest in peace with your family as well as ours and watch over all of us until we meet again. Thank-You the Boy in the Window from Next Door.

My condolences to the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person. I remember from when I was a kid she was always so nice. Now she's dancing in heaven with uncle Emilio. Treasure the good memories always.

Grandma, you have always been a women of great faith in the Lord. Your faith in your Lord Jesus Christ gave you much strength,hope,and peace that surpasses all understanding.I thank God for giving me a grandma like you.I will miss you for this time, but I know that one day we will see each again,praising God and giving him all the glory, wisdom, thanks, and honor He rightfully deserves for sending His Son to Die in place for our sins. Grandma you will be truly missed but I know that you are in better hands with the Lord. There is no better place to be than sitting right beside Jesus. You will live forever in our hearts and although we can't see you now we will see you soon. You have shown us what it is like to live a life like Jesus by teaching us about God's ways and always staying true to His Word.
