Robert Dafoe

Robert Dafoe, formerly of Mason, Michigan, passed away June 6, 2024, in Longview, Washington. Bob was born September 15, 1938, to Clarence and Betty Dafoe in Saginaw, Michigan. They moved to Mason where Bob grew up and graduated from Mason High School in 1956. After high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy with assignments in the Pacific and in Japan. After serving in the Navy Bob graduated from Devry Institute of Technology in Chicago and enjoyed a career developing and maintaining electrical systems with energy companies in the southwestern and northwestern United States. Bob married his lifelong partner, Elaine Watkins, also of Mason, on July 22, 1961, and they lived their retirement years in Clatskanie, Oregon. They were married for 63 years and raised two daughters. Bob is survived by his wife Elaine, daughter Cherie, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike, and daughter Sarah. Bob was laid to rest at Desert Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Kennewick, Washington.
