My condolences to the family. I have a memory to share of Bob's kindness dating back to 1971. My siblings and I were visiting the Davenports in their Kingston home. The adults had gone out leaving us kids to fend for ourselves. As a shy 14-year-old, I was trying to escape the usual mischief of the older kids. In search of a quiet place, I peered into a room where I saw Bobby - as we called him then. He invited me in to listen to his new album, Elton John's self-titled. It began my lifelong love of my favorite artist. More importantly, it seemed that Bobby knew exactly what I needed at that moment. I felt seen and safe. Never will I forget Bob's kindness on that day.

Sincere sympathy to all of you. Bob was a wonderful cousin and although I'm sad he has passed, I'm also filled with happy memories of getting to see and visit with him at family reunions over the decades. I'll never forget his singing and playing guitar: Country Roads. May he have smooth country roads that take him home. All of us Rad and Hintze family siblings are sending loving thoughts and prayers.
