Bob, I was so stunned to hear this news just today, belatedly. The last time we spoke was in mid-February when you called me after my husband died, with such kind words. I was looking forward to more late night "debates" about politics at my kitchen table this summer. You taught me so much. Tonight I will raise a glass from the bottle of Jim Beam you gave me the first time I met you, and look through the books you gave me, and build you one of those bonfires I know you loved.

Bob saved my garage from impending collapse. He moved it, poured a new foundation, and moved it back. He did quality work at a good price. I enjoyed visiting with him and I too, will miss seeing him drive "down the Plank."

It is with a very heavy heart I say good bye to you Bob! Loved seeing you drive by and when you stopped to talk. You were a kind and gentle hearted person always will to help and give info at a drop of the hat. I will be praying for your family as I have been through this kind of grief. God, give them the comfort and support they need, be near them and wrap them in love!

I'm taken back, Bob was a cool guy to be around. Anybody that knows him will know I'm being a wise guy. When I first met him I gave him a nick name, SMILEY. He was quiet at first but when you got to know him boy he could tell you some storys especially about riding motorcycles. To his family and friends I'm very sorry he was a spirit of his own. He lived his life with compasion for others. Now him and Waz are together what a time they must be having. I was told there are motorcycles in heaven oh God look out these guys are crazy. I will miss you and your stories, you always treated me like somebody you new for a long time and it was a few short years. God bless you, Peter....

What can one say about Bobby? He had a way with words and a intuitive way to find a way to make people laugh. He made friends so easily. So many memories I will reach to and smile because he would have wanted everyone remembering the good times, not the sad. YOU ARE TRULY MISSED BOB and forever in our hearts

Bob, I will never forget all of our late night conversations by the fire…… and the way you made my drinks WAY too strong………and the way you used to swerve into my lane when you saw me coming down the road…It hurts my heart to know that I will never have to dodge another one of your bottle caps again, or see your puppy dog eyes twinkling with mischief or hear my dad tell me to “watch out for him, he's trouble” (kiddingly of course). You were so much more than just a friend, you were a part of the family. The Berlin Mountain will never be the same without you. You will always be near and dear to my heart and I will miss you forever.

Bob,
There are so many great memories I have of you. As I sit back and reflect on all of them not one was boring. You were such a unique soul. I loved to just sit and listen to all your crazy stories and your views on life in general. And sometimes your silence would speek volumes. You are missed and loved by so many. Till we meet again. Bottoms up!
Love,
