I am sorry to hear of Mr Doetsch passing. I remember him as my Dads partner from his early days on the Department. I was just a young girl at the time. But one thing never changed. Dad always spoke very highly and fondly of Mr. Doetsch. Just a short three weeks ago I lost my father too. But those few days before his passing he once again shared many of his stories of his days on the Department and with Bob. I can guarantee they both are having a good laugh now in heaven reminiscing about them now themselves. ❤

Bob and I were partners on the RPD back in the late 60s and early 70s. He was a gentle bull of a man (until he needed to be tough) and we shared many police experiences. He was a cops cop. Ive missed Bob over the years as I left the state in 1977. RIP Bob. You were a great cop and family man. Condolences to his family.

I was fortunate to have Bob as my training officer at the Roseville Police Department. Bob was always helpful and considerate of everyone he knew or met on the job. I was a partner of Bob's on the midnight shift and will not forget him. Bob was truly one of Roseville's finest officers. Everyone respected Bob and I did too. May our Lord grant Bob eternal rest.

It was always a pleasure to see Grandpa Doetsch at Laker games rooting for Colt almost as much as he did for Jake and Ava. He was always there with a smile and words of encouragement. Thank you Grandpa Doetsch for being such a positive influence.

God Bless Bob and his family. One of the best officers Roseville has ever had.
He was a mentor and friend to all of us.

Bob was my first partner and mentor on the midnight shift. In those days, there were no field training officers.Bob would train most new recruits that were assigned to midnights. We became great friends and worked together for several years. I had great respect for Bob and I was fortunate to have him as my partner. Bob was very calm and had tremendous "common sense". In my opinion, Bob was one of the finest police officers the City of Roseville has ever had.He is truly missed.

Was a real pleasure working with Bob for many years. Especially had a good time with him on Midnight Shift. A very good man and good Officer. Many good memories. Thinking of the times working with Bob I immediately get a smile on my face!

It is so sad to see one of the great guys from Roseville PD pass. Bob was one of the best guys the department ever had. He was always there for you, funnier than all heck and just a great guy. This earth and all the people you touched in life will miss you Bob. You were one of my favorites over the years.
