Bob an I grew up together, grandma made us share his bed when we visited, he taught me how to jump off the porch when grandma caught us Bob caught hell and a lot of found memoirs of Bob, Shirley and I will miss him.

What luxury,life has afforded me,to have become acquainted with Robert Eugene Dowdy.In the short time I knew him, he greatly impacted my ideology.
In his departing, I evolved in areas I wasn't aware of.
Politics,Economics and administration.
A lovely and wise man,leaving a legacy of opinions
for all.Such a honor to be a service to Robert and his wife Janet.

Aunt Jan, Lisa, Cindy, Kelly, Rob & Joanna, We lost a great man, who will truly be missed. There are so many good memories of time spent with you all. I know Uncle Bob is in a better place and is having a great family reunion with his siblings who went before him. Take comfort in knowing his pain is gone and that you will see him again in God's time. My love to each one of you.

I was sadden to hear about the loss of your dad. Know I am here for you as you were there for me when my dad went home to be with the Lord.
