What luxury, life has afforded me,to have become acquainted with Robert Eugene Dowdy. In the short time I knew him, he greatly impacted my ideology.
In his departing, I evolved in areas I wasn't aware of.
Politics,Economics and administration.
A lovely and wise man, leaving a legacy of opinions
for all.Such a honor to be a service to Robert and his wife Janet.

Aunt Jan, Lisa, Cindy, Kelly, Rob & Joanna, We lost a great man, who will truly be missed. There are so many good memories of time spent with you all. I know Uncle Bob is in a better place and is having a great family reunion with his siblings who went before him. Take comfort in knowing his pain is gone and that you will see him again in God's time. My love to each one of you.

I will miss you so much. I already miss our talks and sharing a beer with you. You were an amazing, kind, gentle and simple man. You never asked for much. You always made sure your family was taken care of and showed us love everyday. Love you daddy and I can't wait to see you again someday. Love Joanna

Joanna and Family:
I was sadden to hear about the loss of your dad. Know I am here for you as you were there for me when my dad went home to be with the Lord. Know that GOD's plan for you and your family is to rise up and be strong in this time of mourning and all he has in store will become clear to you. Your dad is now in heaven dancing with the angels awaiting the day that you will be together again. May GOD wrap his loving arms around each and every one of you as you go through your moments of sorrow. Thinking of you.

You were the most amazing, thoughtful and kind man. You taught me so many things, from riding a bike to driving a stick shift car. I will be forever changed by your absence and look forward to the day I see you again. Love you always. Cynthia Leigh.
