Robert Thomas Doyle Jr., aged 72, passed away on May 19, 2022, in Bayside, NY. Born on June 27, 1950, Robert, affectionately known as Bobby to his friends and family, was a lifelong resident who cherished his local community and the simple pleasures of life.

Bobby's career spanned several decades at the NY Tel Co., where he began and concluded his professional journey, dedicating many years to the companya€™s security department. His work ethic and commitment to his role were well-respected among colleagues and friends.

A true Mets fan, Bobbya€™s enthusiasm for baseball was undeniable. He spent many joyful moments cheering for his favorite team, and his hobbies extended to gardening and cookinga€"activities that not only brought him immense pleasure but also allowed him to share his harvest and dishes with loved ones. His homegrown tomatoes were particularly renowned among his family and friends.

He was a regular at Paddy's On The Bay in Throggs Neck, a beloved spot where he enjoyed the camaraderie and conversation. Bobby valued his relationships deeply, maintaining close ties with his siblingsa€"Michael, Dennis, and Kathia€"and a wide circle of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a devoted son who took great care of his parents, often taking his mother out to dine or driving his father to doctora€™s appointments.

Bobbya€™s educational journey was rooted in his community as he attended St. Helena for both his primary and high school education, further cementing his lifelong connections in the area.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Neary Doyle, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his brothers, sister, and extended family.

Bobby Doyle Jr. will be remembered for his kind heart, spirited support for the Mets, and the joy he found in lifea€™s simple pleasures. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
