ASHEBORO -- Mr. Robert Winston Dozier, died Monday, January 7, 2008 from complications of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Asheboro.
He was a native of Marion, SC and a graduate of Clemson University.
He founded and operated Montgomery Foods, Inc, Quik Chek, Inc. and Quik Chek Fuels, Inc.
Surviving are wife, Virginia S. Dozier; sons, Bryan and wife Karen of Troy and their children, Jackson and Barrett Dozier; Win and wife Elizabeth of Troy and their children, Coleman, Mary Winston, and Chandler Dozier; King and wife Angela of Asheboro and their children, Griffin and Carlisle Dozier; daughter, Aimee Dozier Norris and husband Rob of Charlotte and their children, Jack, Clay, and Ben Norris; stepsons, Scott Bankhead and wife Kelly of Asheboro and their children, Alec, Sarah, and Karson Bankhead; Todd Bankhead and wife Carole of Blacksburg, VA and their children, Tyler and Harrison Bankhead; brother, W.B. and wife Nancy of Marion, SC; sisters, Dot McIntyre of Marion, SC and Shan Williams of Marion, SC; sisters-in-law, Jean Dozier of Loris, SC and Martha Gold Dozier of Mullins, SC.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and the interment will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Richmond Memorial Park, Hamlet, NC.
