Robert Drake Jr. Obituary
Robert is survived by his daughters, Brenda Ray (Jamie) and Katherine Drake (Jason White), as well as his grandson Clayton Cadle, his pride and joy. He also leaves behind his best friend of 63 years, Richard Byrd, who was like a brother. Robert was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Drake, his father Robert F. Drake Sr., his sister Sheila and the love of his life, Evelyn Henson.
Robert was a bar owner for many years. He took pride in his work and often joked that being a bar owner meant being a therapist, a banker, but most importantly, a friend. Through his profession, he formed many long-lasting friendships.
He had many nicknames, but "Papaw D" was his favorite.
To honor his wishes, there will not be a service at this time.
He will be deeply missed by all.
