Helga & Family,
Bob and I graduated the same year 1959, (St Charles H.S.) and enlisted in the military service on the same day together. We also took Basic Traning together however after Basic we careers went different ways. However, years later we both found our Brides for life while serving our country in Germany. Over the years we have maintained our Internet contact. I as well as the entire graduating class of 1959 are also sorry for your loss. We have many found memories of him and enjoyed his company during our 50th H. S. Reunion in St. Charles, MN.
Our prayers and love to you all.

Sue, Carol, Helga, and the entire family,
I was so saddened to hear that Bob had passed away. I know he was truly a fighter but the fight with this awful disease gets so tiring. I know what a great husband, dad, and grandpa he was to all of you. I have so many fond memories of him and growing up around the house with Sue. He was a remarkable man and will be so missed. Please hold so close to you the many happy memories you have of him close to your heart and forever he will be with all of you. I am sending many thoughts, prayers and love to you all.

Hi Sue, Pat, Leah and Afton,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this extremely difficult time. It's never easy to lose a parent, but it's so much tougher losing one at Christmas. This poem was in my my mom's memorial and I wanted to share it with you. May you find comfort in the many happy memories. Celebrate his life well lived.
Spending Christmas with Jesus Christ This Year poem
I see the countless Christmas trees
Around the world below,
With tiny lights like heaven's stars
Reflecting in the snow.
The sight is so spectacular
Please wipe away that tear
For I'm spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs
That people hold so dear
But earthly music can't compare
With the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you
The joy their voices bring
For it's beyond description
To hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me,
Trust God and have no fear
For I'm spending Christmas
With Jesus Christ this year.
I can't tell you of the splendor
Or the peace here in this place.
Can you imagine Christmas
With our Savior, face to face?
May God uplift your spirit
As I tell Him of your love
Then pray for one another
As you lift your eyes above.
So let your hearts be joyful
And let your spirits sing
For I'm spending Christmas in Heaven
And I'm walking with the king!
