In memory of
Howie Reske
April 16, 2023
I remember when I was in the 6th grade shooting hoops outside at Memorial Park Bob was the only upper classman that would join me and we always played one on one. Although I never won I will never forget how that built my confidence and made me feel like like a big shot. Our condolences to Sally, Maureen and Paul.

Saddened to hear of this tragic passing. I was just informed of this yesterday. Bob was a great representative of everything Rockland is. Thinking of him makes me smile.
My caring thoughts to his children and Maureen, Paul and Sally.

Bob was a a giant among men. While his analytic skills were highly regarded, it was his social skills that were larger than life. Ever positive, always interested in others, and full of colorful tales, you couldn't help to be in good spirits after encountering Bob.
Bob will be badly missed but Heaven just got a whole lot more fun.

My husband and I lived on the same floor as Bob. We often talked about how having a 20 second exchange with Bob in the morning could change the course of our day. He was such a bright light. So friendly and genuine. We will miss seeing him at the dog park with Bear We are incredibly sorry for your loss. May the love around your carry you through this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the Ellis family.
I had known Bobby since the 6th grade.
Like people have said he did always have a smile on his face. He was a very positive person.
He inspired me because in athletics he really didn´t have the size but he not only participated he contributed!
I knew even in high school he would be successful in business (and I understand he was a huge success) because he never gave up! There was no quit in Bobby Ellis!
He was a great guy, a sincere and honest person, and l feel very fortunate that he called me his friend!
Rest in peace Bobby Ellis you were special!

To the Ellis family, Our heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I had known Bob for over 63 years. We both grew up on Blossom St. Spent many hours playing sandlot baseball, basketball and football. There was not an activity we did not participate in .Bob was a valued teammate on the "72 State Championship Hoop Team. You would not find a person who did not like Bob. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever known. He was a true friend over all these years. It was very clear that Bob was a devoted father who cherished spending time with Mary ,Bobby, Billy and Terese. Till we meet again my friend. Rest in Peace. Mike Ross
